South Asian Ministry Canada (Punjabi)

start a fundraising campaign

This project supports outreach and church planting initiatives among South Asian (Punjabi) communities in Canada. The initial focus is the BC Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, which is home to a large contingent of South Asian immigrants.

Ministry among South Asian people in Canada carries unique challenges, calling for an approach which reflects the specific cultural values of that community. This ministry focuses on the formation of home fellowships that can provide a safe place to learn and grow, becoming centers of fellowship, prayer, and healing. With vision for a network of house churches planted in collaboration with MB churches, both first and second generations in the South Asian (Punjabi) community will experience the love of God and hear the good news of Jesus. Along with this, strategic partnership with local churches will potentially see more people being trained, equipped and mobilized to engage more effectively with their South Asian neighbors.

This project provides support for the ministry initiatives of Multiply’s Arun and Anjana, who are giving leadership to ministry within the South Asian (Punjabi) community. To support these workers directly, please go to their personal project: www.multiply.net/global-worker/arun-and-anjana
